
Feast Without the Fuss: Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving in Rochester

Thanksgiving is just over a week away. What are you plans? If I'm honest, I'd be ok if I never had another traditional Thanksgiving meal ever again. But, maybe that's because I've never had it made correctly (sorry mom). There are a few stellar restaurants that know how to do it right.

If you'd rather just pick up a meal and bring it home to enjoy with your fam, there are a few places offering pick-up or meal kits.
Smoak will be closed on Thanksgiving day, BUT has a dinner package you can grab ahead of time that feeds up to 8 people for $185. You'll get all the goodies - house smoked turkey breast, rosemary turkey gravy, wild mushroom & bacon stuffing, bell pepper corn casserole, maple buffalo brussel sprouts, biscuits, and dessert. Holy yum. To place an order, give them a call. The deadline to order is Sunday, November 19th.
Bleu Duck has another stellar option for a takeout spread. Turkey breast AND thighs - cider brined with herbs and garlic, mashed potatoes, sausage stuffing, mac and cheese, dinner rolls, pumpkin pie, and so much more!! The deadline is coming up quick - you must place your order before November 17th. The feast will easily feed a family of four and costs $180.
Red Cow is preparing Thanksgiving meal kits with the classics or just pick your faves a la carte style. Here are the details.
The Workshop will host a Thanksgiving Eve party Wednesday evening with 2 for 1 rail drinks 9-10p and a DJ starting a 10p, plus foosball, beer pong, and other specials.
