Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A major drug bust near Rochester in late August has resulted in federal drug trafficking charges against 4 people.

A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Minnesota says the 4 men were formally charged October 1st. The federal indictment against 38-year-old John Netherton, 28-year-old Miquel Zamora, 22-year-old Joshua Sazo, and Jacob Williams stems from an investigation that led to the seizure of 13 pounds of methamphetamine found in the vehicle, along with $11,000 in cash, a quantity of counterfeit $100 bills, and a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun.

In addition to the drug charges, Netherton faces a federal weapons charge. The indictment notes Netherton, who has an extensive criminal history, is also known as "Big John" and "Wicked One."
