The fire was reported around 1:45 AM Friday outside the building that is located north of the Rec Center.

Rochester Fire Dept. crews arrived to find a pickup truck engulfed in flames that were also spreading to the building and the other vehicle. They also discovered power lines on the ground that were still energized and sparking.

RFD says the fire was put out right away but the truck was a complete loss and part of the building’s exterior received significant fire damage. Some of the building’s interior and contents also received significant fire and smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The building is subdivided into multiple lease spaces for businesses.
