First Day Back to School for Minnesota Kids

Today is the first day of school for kids in Southeast Minnesota. It's been a while since I walked through the doors of Kasson-Mantorville for the last time, but I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Some of the things you'll always remember as a kid are the sounds of lockers closing, the chatter between the classes and the smells.

School is filled with many types of people, too. You'll see the jocks, cheerleaders, nerds, the goths and more. And you'll see the bullies, too. Every school has one... or two. They're the ones with about 11 brain cells, who pick on the weak. They usually end up later in life asking you if you want fries with your meal.

So, to whatever school you go to, enjoy it, because it'll be the 'easiest' part of your life.
