This post was originally going to be about the really cool event that was scheduled to happen in Mantorville called Stagecoach Days. Unfortunately, due to the storms yesterday, Stagecoach Days had to be canceled because the park is underwater.

According to KTTC, Stagecoach Days has been going on for 30 years. They actually just spoke with Stagecoach Days chairperson Brian Hinda about the event on Wednesday.

Here's how the Mantorville Stagecoach Days Facebook page describes the event:

A two-day celebration of history, music, art, theatre, costumes, and all of the things that make Historic Mantorville a great place to be! Incorporated in 1853, Mantorville is an authentic Victorian Frontier Town. Many of our buildings date to the 1800's. We celebrate our unique history as an early stop on the Stagecoach Road with this wonderful, family-friendly two-day event!

Hang out with Carly Ross on The Mighty 920 KDHL weekdays 1-5pm!
