Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman who was with her two children is reporting a harrowing experience.

The 43-year-old was driving in the alley between the North Broadway Holiday station and Samaritan Bethany Sunday evening and was forced to stop because another vehicle had stopped in the middle of the roadway. The woman honked her horn and two occupants of the other car got out and began yelling at her. They then returned to their car and drove off.

The woman says she drove about another block or so when the same car stopped right in front of her vehicle. Two occupants got out and began kicking her car and yelling at her. She saw one of them return to the car and reach inside for something and that’s when she “became really scared.” She was able to drive away but noticed the other vehicle was following her. The woman drove a few blocks and when she saw a state trooper, she noticed the other car had disappeared.

The woman told police there may have been a total of 3 or 4 people in the car and they appeared to be under the age of 20. Police were able to trace the license plate number to the owner who said the car had been stolen.
