The Rochester Police Department will be hosting neighborhood block parties throughout the summer. There will be six "Safe City Nights" parties between June and August - see the schedule below. Each event will take place from 6-8 p.m. and will include free food and activities.

Police Chief Jim Franklin states, “RPD believes that community engagement is critical to the success of protecting and serving the Rochester community.  The Department believes that it is the responsibility of all to be engaged with the community, not just a select few.  This includes the Chief, sworn officers, and civilian staff.  RPD believes that community engagement is strengthened through strong partnerships that are built through trust, collaboration, and respect. ”
