Like, sure, you could probably spot the big landmarks in a regular photo without breaking a sweat. But from the sky? That’s where things get a little… humbling.

This is a collection of some of Minnesota’s most famous and recognizable spots, just seen from a totally different angle. And let me tell you, I was born and raised here, and a few of these had me completely stumped.

From above, some of these places don’t look anything like what you think they would. A couple are super obvious. One is basically a freebie (you’re welcome). And the rest… let’s just say they’re a little trickier than expected.

I had way too much fun putting this together. There were a few where I thought everyone would get them instantly… and others where I had that moment of “ohhh, now I see it.”

Not going to lie, if I hadn’t made this myself, I’d maybe get half of them right. Maybe..
