Gophers Team Up With Sun Country To Send Lucky Fans To The Outback Bowl

The Gophers have had one memorable season, and one lucky Gopher fan will create memories of their own with a great opportunity to see the Gophers in Florida.

The University of Minnesota has teamed up with Sun Country Airlines to send one fan and ten of his/her friends for an epic trip to Flordia to watch the Gophers take on Auburn in the Outback Bowl on New Years Day.

One lucky winner will receive 11 tickets for them and 10 friends to watch the Gophers compete against Auburn in the 2020 Outback Bowl in Tampa, Fla. The winner will also receive 11 roundtrip flights on Sun Country Airlines and two nights hotel accommodations in Tampa, Flordia (six double-occupancy rooms per night) to experience everything the Outback Bowl has to offer.

If you want to enter into the content, all you have to do is submit a video of 60 seconds or less explaining why they deserve to take 10 of your friends to the Outback Bowl. You won't be the only Gopher fan, either. According to Assistant Athletic Director Paul Rovnak the Gophers have already sold a lot of tickets and the team anticipates quite the support for the Gophers.

"We have sold 6000 tickets through the school. Many fans will purchase tickets elsewhere. We have sold out our fan charter and space is running out at our pregame tailgate as well," Rovnak said.
