I know I'm not the only one who has been hit with the nasty cold that has been going around Minnesota.  I've watched people wiping their noses a million times, coughing everywhere (sometimes NOT in their elbow).

It never fails that on the nicest weekends, the only thing we can do is binge-watch Netflix while feeling like crap.  I did get to catch up on all my shows but I also had a tough time talking which makes life extra fun when you talk on the radio.

When I don't feel good, I am always looking for a solution to get the crud away and I ran across an interesting survey to get those nasty cold germs to stay away.

Way back when in 1988, a study examined the antibacterial properties of carbonated drinks, wine, beer, skim milk, and water, and each beverage was infused with infectious bacterial like salmonella, E. coli, and shigella.  The wine had the least amount of live bacteria after two days, meaning it's actually an effective disinfectant and bacteria can't survive in it. - Maxim.com

Not saying that you should never go to the Doctor if you are feeling horrible but I am thinking that we should be putting a few more wine parties on our Google calendars...because it is for our health.  😉
