I've always been shocked that a town the size of Rochester doesn't have a bigger selection of used bookstores.  A few months ago, I was begging for people to write to Half Price Books so they could open up a store in Rochester (you can find that story here).  They might want to hold off on those plans though because a new bookstore has opened and might just be the answer many of us were hoping for!

I've been driving up and down Broadway for a few weeks and noticed that a sign was out by Caribou that said "Lisa's Books".  At first, I just thought it was something that popped up at the Caribou for a bit but after a few days, realized that a new store must have opened.

Here's what you need to know about Lisa's Books!  According to their website, "Lisa's Books sells new, used, out-of-print, vintage, collectible, and exclusive books and art by Lisa Loucks Christenson.".  A great variety of books for kids, young adult, secular, and over 1,000 Christian books are available to purchase now.  The stock rotates as new and used books get added but a huge variety of genres are available. The bookstore is now open in the River Center Plaza, just off of North Broadway.  You can find out hours and more about their store at their website by clicking here.

What other stores should open in Southeast Minnesota?  I'd love to hear what you think should be added!  Send me a message on my Facebook page (click here) or DM me on Instagram.
