Have you thought about what to do if someone in your house contracts COVID-19? I hope you never have to deal with the nasty virus, but you should take some time to prepare just in case. You’ll want to designate a room to quarantine the person so no one else in your family gets sick.

The Centers for Disease Control says you should, “Choose a room in your home that can be used to separate sick household members from those who are healthy. Identify a separate bathroom for the sick person to use, if possible.  Household members should stay in another room or be separated from the patient as much as possible and use separate bedrooms and bathrooms, if available." Here is the CDC's household plan of action checklist.

So that part is easy to understand, but how do you care for someone with COVID-19? That’s a little trickier. The CDC listed several recommendations on their website.

Be careful. Be safe. Get more from the CDC, here.
