Too bad I wasn't born with any artistic skills because I would love to create something as beautiful as these elaborate, breathtaking snow sculptures in Mankato.

Old Town Mankato, which includes the 300 through 800 blocks of Riverfront Drive, is partnering with American Indian & Multicultural Affairs at Minnesota State University, Mankato, to celebrate culture, winter, and art.

In fact, together, this team plans to host an amazing three-day sculpture experience on February 3rd, 4th, and 5th in Old Town Mankato.

As you can see above, the event will include more than just snow art. Old Town will also host indigenous artists and vendors, food trucks, store specials, and more.

Not all of the details are solidified yet, but this event is one you don't want to miss. I mean, just check out these sculptures!

I'm genuinely curious how they create these lively (and large) pieces of art. It can't be easy.

This block above is a "work in progress." How they go from a large chunk of snow to something like this below is beyond me? They must not mind the cold.

I have to say this Mankato inspired sculpture is my favorite. Not only because it reps my old college, but because the details are immaculate. Even the back is stunning.

I do wonder what it's like to not be artistically challenged. Unfortunately for me, I may never know. Luckily, I can still enjoy the beauty of art by simply admiring it.

So, are you up for a little challenge? We would love to see you and your family attempt to create some snow sculptures this winter. If your crew finds some success, we'd love to see some pictures through our app or Facebook!
