Head-On Crash in Wabasha County
Wabasha,MN (KROC AM News) – The Minnesota State Patrol says the drivers involved in a head-on crash in Wabasha County along the Mississippi River Thursday afternoon came out of it with non-life threatening injuries.
The wreck happened around 3:00 PM on Highway 61 between Lake City and Wabasha.
The State Patrol says 59-year-old Susan Patneaude of Nelson, Wisconsin was driving one of the vehicles. The other vehicle was driven by 55-year-old George Davis of Lake City.
The State Patrol says after the collision his pickup truck actually went over a guardrail and ended up on its passenger side in about three feet of river backwater.
