Rochester man, Corey Jacob, needs our help. Corey is homeless and due to his disabilities and past trauma, he isn't able to get homeless assistance that others are able to utilize. So a GoFundMe has been set up to get Corey and his assistance cat Nighty a new van that they can live in.

The GoFundMe was set up by Andy Stehr. On the GoFundMe page, Andy writes, "'I've known Corey for a long time. I'm aware of the complications and biases he faces every day.'" These complications and biases are why he isn't able to get a place and why he's not able to receive the same type of help that many other homeless people are able to use.

The van that Andy is looking to get Corey "needs certain customizations that will allow him to survive the coming winter." This GoFundMe was set up at the beginning of October and I'm really sad that they haven't been able to meet their goal yet since the snow and cold came so early this year.

Let's help Corey get the van that he and Nighty need! The GoFundMe goal is set at $50,000 and as of October 23rd at about 11:30 AM, they are at $5,810. So there's a way to go but if everyone chips, in even just a couple bucks if that's all you have, it would definitely help!
