If You Love Minnesota Craft Beer, You’ll Love This Brewery Passport
If you love trying all of Minnesota's great craft beers-- like I do-- you have to check out this new brewery passport program!
Big shout-out to my wife, Katie, who knows how much I love getting out and sampling some of the great craft breweries here in the Bold North. She bought me my official Minnesota Northern Ale Guide Brewery Passport for Christmas, and it's great!
It features 74 different craft breweries from around Minnesota (including our local breweries like LTS, Little Thistle, Grand Rounds and Kinney Creek). The goal of the program, according to its website, is to "help taprooms and craft beer drinkers find each other and build a community around a shared pride for good beer."
So you simply visit a participating brewery, get your passport stamped (just like if you were visiting a foreign country) and then enjoy a special buy-one-get-one-free offer for a pint of your favorite ale-- or IPA-- or, well, you get the idea.
The 2019 passport is good literally for the entire year-- from January 1st through December 31st, so you have plenty of time to hit the highways and byways of Minnesota while you sample some way-cool beers. Many of the participating breweries are located in the Twin Cities, but not all-- their website has them listed by geographic region HERE.
I'll keep you posted on my progress as I collect as many stamps as I can. If you interested, you can get more info HERE.
