We hear all the time about various celebrities and their multi-million dollar homes. But those are out in California; there aren't any home that expensive here in southeast Minnesota, right? Well, as it turns out, there are. Like this house, for example.

A home on Salem Point Drive in southwest here in Rochester is listed for sale at a cool $2,990,000. That's right, just a smidgen below three million dollars, which makes it the most expensive listing in Rochester, according to realtor.com.

So what does nearly $3 million get you in a home? Well, the listing says the house is pretty big, coming in at nearly 11-thousand square feet (for comparison, I think our house comes in at about 2,100 square feet). However, it only has three bedrooms. (Heck, our house has four!)

There are a lot of other amenities the property features, though. The listing says it comes complete with scenic views of Bamber Lake from "just about every room," plus exclusive lake access, too.

Apparently, though, paying just shy of $3 million is quite the steal for this house-- because the listing says it was built for over $6 million back in 2004. It looks pretty nice, alright. You can check out the listing and see for yourself HERE.
