It’s ‘Farm Animals Week’ On Afternoons With Val! Let’s Play A Game!

In honor of Farm Animals Awareness Week, I decided to have some fun on Afternoons With Val! Minnesota is no stranger to farms, and we love our farm animals that help us sustain a way of life that is uniquely Minnesotan. Let's celebrate these awesome beings! You can also learn about the issues affecting farm animals (which, really, is why this week was created) here.

We're going to test your farm animal knowledge and see if you can identify our favorite farm animals! Listen for the clip of a farm animal at around 2:40pm each afternoon this week, through Friday, and call in if you know what it is! I might even mix up some farm animal trivia too! For example, did you know goats don't have teeth on their upper jaw!? They also make great companions for other farm animals! I'm sure most of your already knew that though.
