It’s Not the Ghosts This Winter!

Americans living in cold weather cities have reported a rise in hauntings since the current cold snap began. Many are hearing thuds, creaks and other strange noises. The homes aren't haunted, but are experiencing "quaking". The condition occurs when a rapid temperature drop on the outside of the house takes place, while the inside temperature remains the same. The cold air causes outside building materials, like siding and wood, to shrink. Thuds, creaks and other strange noises then occur because of the stress on the home. (Photo- Vectorstock)
