When and How to Get New Minnesota Twins License Plate
The Minnesota Twins are joining the Minnesota Vikings in offering fans a special license plate.
The new license plate design will be available in Minnesota with proceeds going to the Minnesota Twins Community Fund. This 501c3 nonprofit organization provides "resources for the healthy development of children and families through an association with baseball, softball, and the Minnesota Twins."
When Will The New Plates Be Available and How Much Will They Cost
The newly designed license plate will be available starting on January 1st, 2024 online at drive.mn.gov or in person at Minnesota Driver and Vehicle Services locations around the state. The new plate will require the normal vehicle plate fees plus the addition of a yearly $30 contribution to the Minnesota Twins Community Fund.
The new license plate features the Twins TC logo and "This is Twins Territory" in the design, which also features the Twins red, white, and blue colors. The Twins license plate will be available in two sizes, one for vehicles and a smaller size for motorcycles.

What Other Designs Are Available in Minnesota?
Right now, the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings are the only pro sports teams in our state that have their own fancy license plates. But guess what? The Timberwolves, Minnesota Lynx, Minnesota Wild, and Minnesota United are all in on it too – they've gotten the green light for their own fan plates!
Minnesota has over 100 different designs available for license plates, they include colleges and universities, golf, military service, wildlife, and even a special plate for amateur radio operators.
Once ordered, the plates should be delivered within two weeks, and these special plates can also be personalized, so you'll be able to get a favorite player or something else related to the team on the plate if you decide that's something you want to do, of course, personalization requires the extra required fees.
