
RaeLynn Files for Divorce From Josh Davis After 10 Years of Marriage
Country singer RaeLynn has filed for divorce from Josh Davis, her husband of 10 years.
She shared the news in a social media statement on Tuesday morning (July 14), writing, "This has not been an easy decision."

In her statement, she emphasized that their biggest priority is being parents to their child amid divorce proceedings.

"After much thought and prayer, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce," the singer wrote.
"As a working mom, I am committed to giving my daughter the love, stability and support she will need while we navigate this next chapter together," RaeLynn wrote in her statement.
"I am grateful for the love and encouragement of my family, friends and fans," she added, "and I respectfully ask for privacy as we move forward with grace and compassion."

Davidson County Circuit Court records show that RaeLynn filed for divorce on June 8.
A "return of service" document, which typically confirms that the intended recipient has received the paperwork, was filed on June 22.

The filing includes a complaint for divorce along with several related court documents.
Beyond what's listed in the public docket, few details have been made public.
RaeLynn's lawyer is divorce attorney to the stars Rose Palermo, who is also currently representing Summer Pardi in her divorce from Jon Pardi, as well as Jelly Roll in his divorce from Bunnie Xo.

RaeLynn's Love Story With Josh Davis Through the Years
RaeLynn and Davis were married on Feb. 27, 2016, in Nashville after getting engaged the year before.
They welcomed their daughter, Daisy, in September 2021.
Over the years, RaeLynn has often spoken about her husband's unwavering support, especially as she balanced motherhood with her country music career.
During a 2023 appearance on Savannah Chrisley's Unlocked podcast, RaeLynn admitted she briefly considered stepping away from music after Daisy was born because she loved being a mom so much.

She said she wanted to stay home, raise a big family and live on a farm. But Josh encouraged her not to walk away from the career she felt called to pursue.
Watching Josh hold Daisy side stage during one of her first shows back ultimately reminded RaeLynn that she could pursue her dreams while raising a family.

RaeLynn first rose to national attention as a contestant on The Voice.
She auditioned with the Pistol Annies' song "Hell on Heels" and ultimately selected Blake Shelton as her coach.
They've kept in touch, and Shelton has continued to be a supportive presence over the course of her career.
Early-career hits for RaeLynn include "God Made Girls," "Love Triangle," and "Queens Don't."
RaeLynn wrote "Love Triangle" at age 18, as a way to process her own parents' divorce. Nicolle Galyon and Jimmy Robbins co-wrote the song.
Since then, she's continued to release songs like "Keep Up" and a song for her daughter, "She Chose Me."
