Aldi’s Announced It Will Close All MN Stores For 24 Hours
If you are a fan of discount foods, Aldi's might be where you shop regularly. Well in about 2 weeks Aldi's will be closing all of its Minnesota stores for 24 hours, so if you plan on making a run on March 31st to Aldi, you'll have to get your items sooner.
March 31st of course is Easter this year, and Aldi's announced earlier this year what holidays it would be closed in the US, and Easter was one of those recognized holidays.
If you are someone who has worked in hospitality or at a grocery store you know that just because it's a holiday doesn't mean that your place of work is going to be closed.
Other businesses that have stated they will be closed on Easter this year are:
Sam's Club
Costco
Burlington
Bob's Discount Furniture
Best Buy
T.J. Maxx
Staples
Menards
Home Depot
Michael's
Macy's
JC Penny's
HomeGoods
Hobby Lobby
Ace Hardware
Target
Dick's Sporting Goods
Lowe's
Other services that could see interruptions due to the holiday are museums, government centers, trash pick-up in some communities, and of course, there will not be mail service as Easter always falls on a Sunday.
One retailer that will remain open on Easter Sunday if you do need to run out and get something is Walmart. Most stores will be open their normal hours, but once again you may want to call ahead to make sure.
