
Car-Semi Crash on Slick Hwy. 52 Sends Rochester Man to the Hospital
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A driver was injured after spinning out and striking a semi on Hwy. 52 in Rochester Tuesday morning.

He was the only person in his vehicle, which is described as a sedan. The State Patrol responded to the two-vehicle crash shortly before 6:00 Tuesday morning.
The state crash report indicates the freeway still has snow and ice on it left over from the weekend’s snow storm.

Rochester Man Injured in Car-Semi Crash on Hwy. 52
The car and semi collided at the 16th St. SW interchange on Hwy. 52. Both vehicles were traveling south, according to the state crash report.
36-year-old Eric Lee Johnson of Rochester was identified as the car driver. He was brought to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
64-year-old Kris Robert Dalgaard was driving the semi. The Coon Rapids man escaped the crash without injuries, according to the State Patrol.

Both motorists were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the two-vehicle crash, the state crash report says.
The Rochester Fire Department also responded to the car-semi collision.
