
32-Year-Old Man Critically Injured in Crash North of Albert Lea, Wells Woman Also Hurt
Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Tuesday evening crash resulted in critical injuries for a southern Minnesota man and sent a southern Minnesota woman to the hospital.

The State Patrol responded to the two-vehicle collision shortly before 7:45 p.m. The drivers were the only people involved.

Albert Lea Man Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Two-Vehicle Crash on Hwy. 13, Wells Woman Also Hurt
The collision occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 13 and 280th St., which is about 10 miles north of Albert Lea.
An Audi car traveling east on 280th St. and a Nissan car that was heading south on Hwy. 13 collided in the intersection, the state crash report says.
Drivers Identified
32-year-old Caleb Lee Sorenson of Albert Lea was identified as the car driver. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
35-year-old Stacy Jo Erdner of Wells was identified as the driver of the Audi. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was brought to a hospital in Albert Lea, the State Patrol says.
Neither driver was buckled and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the state crash report.

The Hartland Fire Department, Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the two-vehicle crash.
