
21-Year-Old Kasson Man Critically Hurt in Crash With Semi-Truck
Austin, MN (KROC-AM News) - A 21-year-old Kasson man suffered severe injuries when his vehicle collided with a semi-truck in Mower County Tuesday afternoon.
SUV and semi collide on Highway 56
The State Patrol says the crash was reported around 4:35 p.m. on Highway 56, approximately 3 1/2 miles east of Austin and about one mile south of the I-90 exit to Brownsdale and Rose Creek. The preliminary crash report indicates an SUV and a semi-truck were both headed north on Highway 56 when they collided.

Driver suffers life-threatening injuries
Dominique Mann of Kasson was driving the SUV and was airlifted to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester with what were described as life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol reported that he was wearing a seat belt and that alcohol was not involved.

The driver of the truck was identified as 50-year-old Scott Tomlinson of Manly, Iowa. He was not injured.
