Propane Tank Explosions Lead to Deadly House Fire in Northeast Minnesota
Duluth, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A 57-year-old man lost his life in a northern Minnesota house fire.

A news release issued by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says the deadly fire broke out shortly before 2 p.m.
A neighbor called 911 after hearing the sound of propane tanks exploding and seeing a neighboring home on fire, the news release says.
Propane Tank Explosion Causes Death of 57-Year-Old Man, Fire That Engulfs Multiple Structures North of Duluth
The fatal explosion and subsequent fire occurred at a rural property about 20 miles north of Duluth. Responding firefighters found multiple outbuildings were fully engulfed by fire when they arrived.
Crews located a deceased male as the firefight wound down. He has been identified as Scott Alan Larson of Normanna Township.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating the blaze.
