Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Today's snowstorm likely contributed to an injury crash that brought traffic to a standstill on Highway 52 in Rochester during the noon hour.

The State Patrol says the crash occurred around 12:15 PM near the 2nd Street Southwest interchange. The incident report indicates 36-year-old Pamela Joy Stiefer of Rochester was driving south on the highway when she lost control and her car crashed into the median barrier.

She was transported by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital with what the State Patrol described as non-life-threatening injuries. The crash report notes that she was wearing a seatbelt and the roadway was covered with snow and ice at the time of the crash.
