4 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash in Northeast Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police responded to a serious-injury crash in northeast Rochester Saturday night.
Serious Crash Reported in Northeast Rochester
Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says two vehicles were involved in the crash was reported just before 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of 12th Avenue and 14th Street Northeast. A witness reported that one of the vehicles appeared to have also smashed into a tree.
Firefighters Extricate Four Crash Victims
The Rochester Fire Department had to extricate all four occupants of one of the vehicles. According to Grayson, those four individuals were transported to St. Marys Hospital by Mayo Clinic ambulance.
Reports from the scene indicated at least two of them suffered serious injuries.
The police department spokesperson says it did not appear that the driver, who was the sole occupant of the other vehicle, was injured.
Police Investigation Underway
The names of those involved in the crash and information about their medical conditions have not been released.
Grayson says the crash remains under investigation.
