Clarks Grove, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in southern Minnesota are investigating a shooting.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office issued a request for public assistance with the shooting investigation Wednesday afternoon. 

The gunfire was reported on Tuesday. Deputies responded to the report of possible gunshots around 10:30 p.m.

Public's Help Sought in Investigation of Clarks Grove Shooting

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office says the gunshots were reported in northeastern Clarks Grove, which is about 10 miles north of Albert Lea. No injuries have been reported. 

Authorities are asking anyone in that area with cameras to check their footage between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. Tuesday. 

Anyone who sees anything they may think is worth reporting is asked to call 507.377.5200 ext. 5. 

Anyone with information about the shooting is also asked to contact the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
