State Patrol – Minnesota Man Killed While Walking on Busy Highway
Blaine, MN (KROC-AM News) - A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early this morning in the Twin Cities.
The State Patrol says the deadly incident occurred around 5:45 AM in Blaine. Few details have been released, but the preliminary report from the State Patrol indicates the victim was walking in the lanes of traffic on Highway 47 in the Anoka County city when he was hit by an SUV.
The victim has only been identified as a 27-year-old man from Princeton.
The driver of the SUV was identified as 32-year-old Mohamed Boya Lango of Anoka.

The State Patrol indicated alcohol was not involved concerning the driver of the SUV.
