Two Killed, Two Injured in Fillmore County Buggy Crash

Spring Valley, MN (KROC-AM News)- There was a fatal collision involving an amish buggy and passenger vehicle in Fillmore County Monday morning.

The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office says the deadly collision occurred on Fillmore County Rd. 1 north of Spring Valley in Sumner Township. It happened shortly before 8:30 a.m.

Fillmore County Sheriff John DeGeorge says two people were confirmed to have died in the collision. He says two other people involved in the fatal crash were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with unknown injuries.

No other details have been released. DeGeorge said late Monday morning that County Rd. 1 near Sumner is closed.
