Rochester, MN (RochesterNow)- Rochester police seized a pair of guns during the arrest of juveniles Thursday evening.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson. 

The incident began around 8 p.m. and came to an end after a police chase.

Juveniles Arrested by Rochester Police After Pursuit That Followed Report of Threats of Violence

Officers responded to a suspicious circumstance call involving a juvenile male reportedly texting threats of violence

The incident was reported around 8 p.m. in the 200 block of 9½ St. in southeast Rochester. Grayson says officers found the juvenile suspect leaving the area in a vehicle. 

Police attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver fled. Officers began to pursue the vehicle as the motorist continued driving. 

Police Use PIT Maneuver to Stop Fleeing Juvenile Threat Suspect

The chase ended when officers used a Pursuit Intervention Technique maneuver to stop the vehicle on 14th Ave. SW just south of 11th St. SW, according to the police report. 

Officers took three juveniles into custody. Grayson says two firearms were found in the vehicle. 

The names of the arrested juveniles have not been released.
