Rochester’s Most Anticipated Black Tie Event Is Back – A Chair Affair

Not sure if I got emotional because this kid looks a lot like one of my own, or the fact that I know of so many kids who can't confidently say that phrase right now.

Kids in the Rochester, Minnesota area are still struggling to make connections after the pandemic.  Some are craving that mentor type of relationship where they can feel supported and have someone to talk to.  Others are just waiting for an opportunity to dive into their passions...but are struggling with where they can go to pursue those.  All of those feelings and more are happening in the hearts of kids right here in the Med City.

Rochester's most anticipated black-tie event is back again in 2026. The dazzling lights and live music are just the start of an evening full of entertainment and surprises.  Here are a few other fun aspects you don't want to miss:

• Take a shot at winning an auction item - enjoy the large variety of items in the silent auction.  Later in the night, join the excitement of the live auction.  Remember, every winning bid goes to support local youth.

• The Artisan Chairs - every chair on display is a unique work of art created by local and regional artists.  They are a must see every year...and also something that you could win.
