A torn meniscus didn't stop Jimmy Butler from following through with an already amazing selfless act. Even though the injury happened in Houston and required surgery, the Timberwolves star still returned to Minneapolis for this event. The event that a 14-year super fan and his family will never forget.

Matthew Jong is a young fan from Seattle. He's battling aplastic anemia, a rare condition in which the body stops producing enough new blood cells. This causes Matthew to feel tired and puts him at a higher risk of infections and uncontrolled bleeding. His wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation was to meet Jimmy Butler.

According to NBA.com, Matthew’s family also got to tour the Timberwolves offices, sat on the Timberwolves bench pregame, ate dinner in the Lexus Courtside Club and watched the Wolves beat the Bulls in front of a sold-out crowd.
