Red Wing, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is now reporting a 17-year-old girl from Lake City has died from injuries suffered in a traffic crash yesterday in Red Wing.

Karina Gonzalez-Baltazar was a passenger in an SUV that collided with a semi-truck on Highway 61 just before 2:30 in the afternoon. The State Patrol also reported two other children, 12-year-old Beverly Gonzales and 11-year-old Junior Gonzales, were also brought to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The State Patrol says the deadly crash occurred when the driver of the SUV, 35-year-old Fidelina Gonzalez of Lake City, was attempting to turn onto a street from Highway 61 when her vehicle with a southbound truck driven by 41-year-old Andrew Mullenbach of Lake City. He was not hurt, but the driver of the SUV was also transported to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
