Man Assaulted Outside Eyota Bar Suffers Broken Nose

Eyota, MN (KROC AM News) – A rural Rochester man was arrested over the weekend for an assault outside a bar in Eyota.

Olmsted County deputies were called to the Green Door bar late Saturday night and found the victim suffering from a broken nose and possible concussion. The Pine Island man also had a broken tooth.

The 24-year-old told deputies he was “cold-cocked” by 34-year-old Travis Spencer and hit his head on the surface of the parking lot. The deputies were told the assault was the result of alleged “inappropriate behavior” involving Spencer’s wife and the victim.
