Man Injured After Falling Off Cliff While Mowing in Southeast Minnesota

Chatfield, MN (KROC-AM News) - A 73-year-old man was injured after the tractor he was driving fell off a cliff while mowing.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the incident in the 9000 block of County Road 7 SE Saturday where a tractor went over a cliff around 11:30 a.m.
The homeowner was mowing the yard when he fell 30-40 feet off the cliff and into a tree line.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Chatfield Police, and Chatfield Ambulance were on the scene to assist in recovering the man.
The Sheriff's Office said the man sustained moderate injuries to his shoulder and back. He was transported to St. Marys Hospital by Chatfield Ambulance.
