Man on Bicycle Killed in Crash
Pine Springs, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities are investigating a deadly crash involving a bicyclist on the east side of the Twin Cities.
The State Patrol says a St. Paul man was fatally injured this afternoon while riding a bicycle on a divided four-lane highway in Washington County. Officials say 67-year-old Gary Michel was attempting to cross the roadway at the start to an exit ramp from westbound Highway 36 when he was struck by a pickup truck in the town of Pine Springs.
The deadly incident was reported shortly after 12:30 PM.
