When you think of wild cities in the country, what comes to mind? Sin City, obviously. Maybe New Orleans during Mardi Gras. Possibly Miami on any given weekend or Tampa during Spring Break?
But here’s something you probably didn’t expect, one Midwest city made the list of the wildest in all of America, and no it wasn't a spot in Minnesota OR Iowa.
How’d they figure this out? The folks over at Online Betting Guide (olbg.com) did some digging into all things wild crunching numbers on everything from the number of casinos and strip clubs to how common marijuana and cocaine use is.
Whether you are splashing your cash in the casinos, or letting your hair down after a hard day at work, most of us have a wild side. So, what's the wildest city in America and where did our Midwest neighbor land? The wildest of them all, believe it or not, is Reno, not Vegas. Portland snagged second place, and Traverse City came in third.

Milwaukee crashed the top 5, landing at number 5 on the list, and yep, that’s just one spot behind Las Vegas. Let that sink in for a second.
Now here’s where it gets really interesting: Milwaukee holds the title for the highest percentage of excessive drinkers in the country. A whopping 25% of adults in the city report binge drinking.
And that’s not all. According to the report, over 62% of adults there have tried marijuana, nearly 20% have used cocaine, and the city is home to 10 strip clubs and a handful of casinos.
