Apparently, if you're in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, you're in an ideal place. One Minnesota city takes the cake as the BEST place in the entire country for college grads.

Zumper evaluated 100 cities nationwide, looking at factors like rent, income, unemployment rates, and social opportunities to reveal the best and worst places for new grads to settle down.

Let's take a peek at the BEST places for college grads:

5. San Francisco, CA

San Francisco ranks fifth on Zumper's list with the highest median income for those 25 and younger at $87,946 annually. The city also excels in its young population and restaurant density, offering plenty of social opportunities. However, with a median rent of $2,895 for a one-bedroom apartment, its affordability is a downside, earning it an "F" in that category. Yikes!

4. Columbus, OH

Columbus is a top choice for recent grads due to its affordable rent, with a median price of $925 for a one-bedroom apartment. The city has a high population of young people and those with bachelor’s degrees, earning it an “A” in these categories. However, the median income for 25-year-olds is just $32,108, resulting in a “C” grade for income according to Zumper.

3. Seattle, WA

Seattle has a high percentage of bachelor degree holders and low unemployment rate. With major employers like Amazon and Starbucks, Seattle offers excellent job opportunities.

2. Denver, CO

Denver ranks second on Zumper's list. It earned an "A" for low unemployment and high median earnings for those 25 and younger. Denver has a vibrant social scene, with many restaurants per capita and a thriving brewery culture. However, a "D" grade for median rent of $1,740/month for a one-bedroom apartment prevents it from taking the top spot.
