Minnesota Bed Bath & Beyond Store One of 42 on the List to Close

A Minnesota Bed Bath & Beyond store is on the latest list of stores that will be closing by the end of February 2021.

USA Today reported on January 5th the latest list of 42 stores set to close by the end of February for the big home goods giant, Bed Bath & Beyond.  I've been watching this story closely for the last few months and continue to hope that our Rochester store will be saved.  Thankfully, our store is not on the current list of closings.  Unfortunately, the Coon Rapids store in Minnesota appeared on the recent closing list.  You can see the full list of stores below.

Last July, Bed Bath & Beyond shared that they would be closing 200 stores over the next two years.  The first round of closings were announced in September with 63 stores on the list.  Those stores closed up shop by the end of 2020.

Even prior to that announcement, USA Today reported in January 2019 that the company would be closing 40 stores.  Several of those closures included stores in Iowa and Wisconsin, including Council Bluffs and West Des Moines in Iowa and the store in Racine, Wisconsin.
