But the biggest headline?
St Olaf College in Northfield landed at an impressive #4 in the entire country.
St. Olaf doesn’t produce ordinary college grads. It turns out Oles (Oh-lees). Oles are the people that companies want and the world needs. St. Olaf’s intense academic liberal arts program hones minds, while its emphasis on global engagement helps broaden perspectives. Most important, perhaps, is the Ole community — a vibrant residential community that accepts, supports, and encourages, generating lifelong friendships and invaluable business connections.
The college’s 3,000 students are from nearly every state and over 95 countries, reflecting the changing demographics of the 21st century. The St. Olaf experience engages students in around 5,000 opportunities for high-impact opportunities in and beyond the classroom, including student-faculty research, internships, volunteer service, and civic engagement. Study abroad/away has long been a cornerstone of the St. Olaf experience, and the college is a national leader in the number of students who study abroad each year. - St. Olaf
