Minnesota Couple Reunited with ’65 Mustang For Their 50th Anniversary

Celebrating your 50th wedding anniversary is a pretty big deal. And, it's an even bigger deal when your kids present you with a vintage '65 Ford Mustang on your anniversary-- and it's the same car you had when you got married 50 years ago!

That's exactly what happened to this couple in the Minneapolis suburb of Lake Elmo. You can read the KARE-11 story from Boyd Huppert HERE. It's a pretty cool tale of how this couple's daughters tracked down not just any '65 Mustang, but the exact same car their parents owned back in 1965.

My parents will celebrate their 50th anniversary in three years, but I'm guessing my brother and sister and I, despite our best intentions, probably won't be getting them a vintage '69 Mustang, though. (Well, maybe we could manage the Matchbox version, as the daughters first did in this story...)
