The health department also reported another 35 coronavirus related deaths throughout Minnesota. The total for the past week was 249, which exceeded the previous weekly record for COVID-19 deaths by 75.

Olmsted County Public Health also updated its weekly report on COVID-19 activity on Friday to add some new cases to last week's total that were delayed because of a backlog in the reporting process.
