Minnesota is the Best Place to be a Woman
According to Wallet Hub, Minnesota is the best place for women! Wallet Hub compares all 50 states using several key indicators of living standards for women. Overall, when it comes to women's economic and social well being, Minnesota is ranked the number one state in the country. The Midwest in general appears to be a great area for women with Wisconsin, Iowa and North Dakota all in the top 10.
The south seems to be a bad area for women with Lousiana being named the worst. Mississippi, Idaho, Oklahoma and Alabama round off the bottom 5.
In previous women-related rankings, WalletHub dubbed Minnesota as the Number 2 best state for working moms, the Number 2 best state to have a baby and the Number 4 best state for women’s equality.
