We keep saying this over and over again, we've had so many snow days this year. Some schools have had 10 snow days this winter! So when will these schools make up all of these snow days? The Minnesota Senate just passed a Snow Day Bill which means Minnesota schools will not be required to make up snows days.

Sen. Carla Nelson spoke with WCCO and said that if schools were required to make up all the snow days from this year some schools would go into June. That would mess up graduation, family vacations, etc.

The bill was pretty easily passed, only two Senators voted no on the bill.

This Snow Day Bill is only applicable to this winter. Next winter (as long as it's not as crazy as this one was, knock on wood) if there are any snow days they will need to be made up.
