A guy named Paul Larcom who lives in Becker, Minnesota is a very talented snow sculpture artist. He's done snow sculptures in his front yard in the past but this is his largest project yet: a 12-foot tall T-Rex.

Yes, a 12-foot tall sculpture made out of snow. It's also 23-feet long to give you a better idea of the size of this thing. Paul also painted the T-Rex and it's so well done. Any kids who love dinosaurs would absolutely love checking this out.

Paul talked to Bring Me the News about the sculpture. He said that last year he built a tauntaun (one of the creatures in Star Wars) but so many people thought it was a dinosaur and were disappointed when they found out it wasn't one. So this year he decided to build something the people wanted.

Looking at this sculpture you wouldn't believe that it's made out of snow, it looks so sturdy. Paul is getting some help from mother nature, though. He has two big sticks supporting both of the legs, one long branch going from the tail to the neck like a spine, and some sticks for the arms and jaw. Otherwise, he did it all just using snow, his hands, a sculptor's loop tool, and some paint.

People are really enjoying stopping by Paul's house and checking out his work. He says that people are welcome to stop by and take pictures. He does mention to be careful though, especially when the snow starts to melt because snow could fall off of the T-Rex.
