Minnesota Man Just Picked Up His 18th DWI Conviction. 18th!
I don't even know what to say. This guy, Marshall Anthony Knoll of Rosemount, MN, was in court last Tuesday to plead guilty for a 2017 crash where he was driving while intoxicated. He already had 17 DWI's on his record, for crying out loud.
A criminal complaint says Knoll was headed north on Highway 52 in his pickup, driving erratically and at a high rate of speed when traffic in front of him came to a complete stop. Reconstruction experts say Knoll rear-ended the car in front of him at approximately 50 miles per hour, causing a chain reaction crash. Two people suffered significant injuries including bone fractures, internal and cervical spine trauma. (Source KARE11)
According to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, he had meth and amphetamines in his blood when he crashed. His sentence is 36 months.
I think I can speak for all of us when I say I hope he'll find his way to recovery.
