You ever see a place on Airbnb and immediately think, “Okay, I need to stay there”?

Yeah… this is that place. And apparently, all of Minnesota agrees, because it’s now the most wish-listed Airbnb in the state.

If you've fallen down Airbnb's “OMG” category rabbit hole, you know the vibe. Treehouses, castles, glass cabins in the middle of nowhere… the kind of places that don’t feel real. And this one? It fits right in.

It's a shipping container home with a view! I’ve actually always been a little fascinated by shipping container homes. They pop up in my feed all the time, and it’s kind of wild what people can do with them. My husband has even toyed with the idea of turning one into an outdoor bar and pool setup… which honestly, I wouldn’t be mad about.

So when I saw this one, I obviously had to click.

Tucked in the woods near Lutsen, Ham’s Haus is actually the very first shipping container cabin on the North Shore, and it’s exactly the kind of place that makes you want to plan a trip around it.

You’ve got towering pine and maple trees, Jonvick Creek right below, and even little peek-through views of Lake Superior, but just wait until you see inside!

According to the listing, the design pulls inspiration from industrial Duluth and the rail lines along the North Shore. Things like raw steel, warm wood, and modern details, and they absolutely crushed the look.

It’s just cool. Like… genuinely cool.

This Shipping Container Cabin is Minnesota’s Most Wish-Listed Airbnb

This is one of those places where the photos do a lot of the talking. Take a look inside Ham’s Haus, and you’ll see why this stay feels so different from your average North Shore cabin.
