Minnesota Restaurant Set to Create World’s Biggest Bloody Mary Bar

Do you like Bloody Marys? If you do, you might be able to help this Minnesota bar set a world record later this spring.

I don't know about you, but I love a good Bloody Mary -- especially when it's loaded down with all those great extras, like green olives, celery, a pickle, and some sausage and cheese. (I think that's the Wisconsin in me coming out again.)

Well, the good folks at the Happy Gnome, on Selby Avenue in St. Paul, are looking to create the World's Biggest Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar on Sunday, April 9th, in their parking lot. (Their outdoor seating area is a great place to enjoy a lovely beverage during the warm-weather season -- I'm hoping we won't have snow on April 9th!)

And if you like all those extras, as I mentioned above, you'll love this bar -- because they're planning on having 60 different items with which you can garnish your Bloody Mary! (The current record-holder, The Silver Grill in Old Town Fort Collins, Colorado, had only 45 items available at their bar.)
